Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum.
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications and treatments.
- Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns promptly.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards in all care activities.
- Support quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Precept or mentor new staff as appropriate.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
