Job Description
SIHAT Health is recruiting General Cardiologists for an established locum tenens program with VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, Virginia.
SIHAT works directly with VCU Health and currently has multiple physicians working within the program. We're looking to add another dependable General Cardiologist for immediate November and December coverage, with additional recurring dates expected in 2027.

Physicians who can cover only part of these dates are encouraged to reach out.
CompensationWeekdays: $350/hour
Guaranteed 9-hour day: $3150/day
Weekends: $400/hour
Travel, lodging and malpractice coverage are provided.
Assignment- Primarily outpatient General Cardiology
- Monday Friday, approximately 8 AM 5 PM
- Approximately patients per day
- Outpatient consults and follow-ups
- Stress lab supervision as needed
- Stress and echo interpretation
- Epic EMR
- Very light overnight call, typically 0 3 calls
- Occasional weekend coverage
- Inpatient cardiology supported by telemedicine
- Additional recurring coverage anticipated in 2027
- Active Virginia medical license
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Comfortable with General/Non-Invasive Cardiology
- Interest in recurring coverage preferred
