Position Highlights
- Outpatient pediatric practice
- Provide primary and urgent care for patients ages 0 19
- Collaborative team environment including physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, behavioral health, dental, and social services
- Focus on preventive care, health promotion, and disease prevention
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric primary and urgent care
- Perform age-appropriate histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Develop treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care
- Refer patients for specialty care when appropriate
- Accurately document patient encounters and procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
- Promote preventive medicine, immunizations, and health education
- Deliver efficient, patient-centered care while maintaining quality standards
