- Local/Midwest-based are strongly preferred as it reduces travel issues in the winter.
- Provide emergency medicine coverage in Rhinelander and other regional hospitals in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
- Manage single coverage with occasional shift overlap, collaborating with APCs for double coverage.
- Assess, treat, and manage patients in the emergency department, including approximately 20% admission rate.
- Ensure compliance with hospital credentialing and maintain a clean NPDB file.
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and support team to ensure quality patient care.
