Responsibilities
- Prepare OR rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
- Support surgeons and RNs by anticipating intraoperative needs
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Verify instruments, counts, and equipment functionality
- Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and safe transfers
- Participate in quality, safety, and process-improvement initiatives
- Document procedures per hospital and regulatory standards
