Prisma Health is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment for children with communication and swallowing disorders. In this on-site role, you will perform standardized assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver evidence-based therapy, and educate families to support carryover at home. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech, language, and swallowing evaluations using standardized tools
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for children
- Provide direct therapy for speech, language, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing disorders
- Educate and coach families and caregivers to support skill carryover at home and in school
- Document evaluations, goals, progress notes, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OTs, PTs, and educators for coordinated care
- Participate in care conferences and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on data and patient progress
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and participate in ongoing professional development
- Support Prisma Health's mission, quality standards, and safety and compliance policies
