LifeBridge Health is seeking a PRN Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. In this flexible, per diem role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team. You will document care in the electronic health record, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders for diverse patient populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals
- Provide direct speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercises
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in the electronic health record
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise or mentor students or new clinicians as appropriate
