LifeBridge Health seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality respiratory care across our Maryland facilities. In this role, you will assess patients, administer therapies, manage ventilators, and provide life-support interventions for diverse patient populations. You will collaborate closely with physicians and nurses, document care accurately, and support patient and family education. Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and administer therapies, including oxygen, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
- Monitor patient responses, adjust care plans, and document treatments in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and optimize respiratory care plans
- Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and advanced respiratory support equipment
- Provide emergency respiratory support during codes and rapid response situations
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, equipment use, and home-care instructions
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in all clinical areas
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical education, and professional development initiatives
