Responsibilities
- Evaluate the residents' condition and develop appropriate rehabilitation plans.
- Help residents improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments.
- Assist residents with physical and cognitive disabilities in regaining their independence and mobility.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care.
- Maintain patient records and document patient's progress and treatment.
- Educate family members and caregivers of the residents on patient care.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with geriatric population.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other billing practices
- Proficient in the use of occupational therapy technologies and methodologies.
