Job Description
Alumni Healthcare Staffing seeks a Family Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in Alabama. Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope outpatient family medicine care to patients of all ages
- Perform history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage evidence-based treatment and preventive care plans
- Prescribe medications and manage refills in accordance with regulations
- Document encounters accurately and timely in the EMR system
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources as needed
- Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to optimize patient flow
- Participate in handoffs, case discussions, and quality initiatives as required by the site
- Adhere to all clinical, regulatory, and ethical standards while working as a locum tenens provider
