Adventist Health is seeking a Manager Diagnostic Imaging to lead day-shift operations of our imaging department. This role oversees radiology workflows, staffing, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting our faith-based mission of whole-person care. The manager will supervise technologists and support staff, coordinate with physicians and nursing, and ensure safe, efficient imaging services. Responsibilities include budget oversight, radiation safety, performance improvement, and optimizing PACS/RIS use. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of diagnostic imaging services to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality studies
- Manage and mentor technologists and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and maintain radiation safety practices
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary teams to optimize patient flow and care quality
- Monitor and manage department budgets, staffing levels, and resource utilization
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and track key performance metrics for imaging services
- Optimize use of imaging technologies, including PACS/RIS, and support process standardization
- Develop, implement, and update policies, procedures, and best practices for the imaging department
