Occupational Therapist

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide evidence-based evaluations and interventions that promote functional independence for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. As part of our collaborative, patient-centered Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will design individualized treatment plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary providers, and educate patients and families. Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the Health Network
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies
• Document assessments, goals, and progress in the electronic medical record
• Contribute to quality improvement, research, and student mentoring as appropriate
