The University of Vermont Health Network seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide evidence-based evaluations and interventions that promote functional independence for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. As part of our collaborative, patient-centered Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will design individualized treatment plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary providers, and educate patients and families. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve daily living skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the Health Network
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies
- Document assessments, goals, and progress in the electronic medical record
- Contribute to quality improvement, research, and student mentoring as appropriate
