Job Description
Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY seeks a Charge Nurse Registered Nurse to lead compassionate, patient-centered care on a busy inpatient unit. The Charge Nurse will coordinate patient flow, supervise nursing staff, and provide direct bedside care in our 75-bed community hospital. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, care planning, and collaboration with an interprofessional team. Responsibilities
- Serve as charge nurse for assigned shift, overseeing patient flow and bed placement
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment, and evaluation
- Supervise and support nursing staff, delegating tasks and mentoring team members
- Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements
- Respond to emergencies, triage changing patient conditions, and escalate appropriately
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge plans
- Promote a patient-centered, compassionate care environment aligned with hospital values
