Adventist Health is seeking a compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you will assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders for pediatric and adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, provide patient and family education, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole-person healing-mind, body, and spirit. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practice and patient goals.
- Provide therapy for pediatric and adult populations across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support progress.
- Document assessments, treatment, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care teams to coordinate whole-person care.
- Participate in case conferences, care planning, and discharge planning as needed.
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical education, and best-practice initiatives.
- Uphold Adventist Health's faith-based mission, values, and standards of compassionate care.
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
