Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the operating room, ensuring safe, efficient patient flow
- Supervise, mentor, and schedule OR nursing staff, supporting performance and development
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate surgical care
- Monitor quality, safety, and infection prevention standards, initiating improvements as needed
- Assist with staff onboarding, training, and competency validation
- Participate in budgeting, staffing plans, and resource allocation for the ORAddress patient and family concerns, promoting a patient-centered experience
- Use clinical expertise to support complex cases and serve as a resource at the bedside
