OhioHealth is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasonographer to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality perinatal and obstetric ultrasounds, support maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse families. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality perinatal and obstetric ultrasound exams following Ohio
- Health and AIUM/ACOG guidelines
- Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and OB providers to support diagnosis and care plans
- Explain procedures and results basics to patients, providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care
- Document findings accurately in EHR and ensure images are properly labeled and archived in PACSMaintain ultrasound equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and report service needs
- Follow strict infection prevention, safety, and privacy standards in all patient interactions
- Assist with quality improvement, protocol updates, and accreditation requirements
- Participate in ongoing education, skills training, and department meetings
