Position Details: The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center seeks a Physician (Cardiologist) for the Specialty Care section at the South Charlotte VA Clinic. Responsibilities include providing quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients, collaborating with health professionals to facilitate treatment and discharge plans, participating in medical center committees and quality improvement initiatives, and supporting nurse practitioners. The physician will serve as staff attending for sub-specialty consults, complete medical record documentation, and contribute to multidisciplinary activities. Additional duties involve supporting and participating in clinical research, evaluating patient care programs, and maintaining professional development through facility programs and continuing education.
