Job Description
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) at Tidelands Health is seeking a dedicated
board-certified/board-eligible Breast Surgeon to join a growing, NAPBC accredited breast center
in the Myrtle Beach region. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices
within the Tidelands Health system to serve Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg Counties, the
second fastest growing region in the country.

Waccamaw Community Hospital (121 beds) in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a community-based, not-for

Required Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery
• Eligible for medical license in South Carolina
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided biopsies is recommended with eventual certification

radiation oncology, genetic counseling, social work, and lymphedema clinic.
• Support Staff- each physician has their own MA, RN, and Nurse Navigator
• CoC and NAPBC Accreditation
• Surgeons perform their own biopsies (Stereotactic, MRI, and Ultrasound)
• No general surgery call
• Health system employed hospitalist services for admissions
• Dedicated marketing and outreach team to support your success
