Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff on inpatient rehab units
- Oversee patient assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based nursing care aligned with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary rehab team to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor staffing levels, assignments, and workflow to maintain quality and efficiency
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance and support professional development
- Promote a patient-centric, compassionate care environment for patients and families
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical performance metrics
- Support onboarding, training, and education of new nursing staff
