Job Description

VNS Health seeks a Supervisor, Behavioral Health to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering home and community-based mental health services across New York City. This role provides clinical and administrative supervision, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with VNS Health's mission of compassion and innovation. The Supervisor oversees caseloads, treatment planning, documentation, and regulatory compliance, while supporting staff in crisis intervention and risk management. Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to behavioral health clinicians delivering home and community-based care.
  • Oversee caseload management, treatment planning, and documentation to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Support staff in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for high-acuity patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic, patient-centered behavioral health services.
  • Monitor performance metrics, lead quality improvement initiatives, and implement best practices.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of behavioral health team members.
  • Engage with patients, families, and caregivers to promote engagement, recovery, and continuity of care.
  • Ensure adherence to VNS Health policies, ethical standards, and cultural competence in service delivery.
