Job Description

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt Health is growing! We are seeking full-time interventional radiologists to join our Section of Interventional Radiology (IR) in Nashville, TN. As leaders in their field, the Vanderbilt Health IR faculty support a wide variety of complex vascular and non-vascular interventions across our academic medical center.


Position Highlights:

  • Join a growing section comprised of 15 faculty, 17 residents, 8 APPs, 28 nurses, and 26 technologists.
  • Call 1:13
  • Support a wide variety of complex vascular and non-vascular interventions
  • Level 1 Trauma Center and 5th largest transplant center in the US
  • State of the art equipment and newly opened 18-bay recovery unit
  • Services provided at Vanderbilt University Hospital and Monroe Carell Jr. Children s Hospital at Vanderbilt with planned expansion to 3 angiography suites in a nearby ambulatory surgery center

Position Requirements:

  • Completion of either fellowship or integrated residency training in interventional radiology
  • Hold an MD or equivalent degree
  • ABR eligible/certified
  • Eligible for TN license
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of complex endovascular procedures as well as CT- and US-guided procedures
  • Active participation in resident teaching
