LPN/LVN

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nursing and a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients recovering from various conditions including strokes, orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiac issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
• Participate in the development of patient treatment plans.
• Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas, or performing catheterizations.
