OhioHealth is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, and support clinical staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations on assigned unit to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching
- Coordinate patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges to optimize bed utilization and patient experience
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based nursing practices, regulatory requirements, and Ohio
- Health policies
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient outcomes, quality indicators, and safety metrics; initiate improvement actions as needed
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations of nursing staff
- Foster an inclusive, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care environment aligned with Ohio

- Lead and support staff education, competency development, and continuous learning initiatives
- Engage in quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient experience projects across the unit and department
