An outpatient healthcare organization is seeking a Primary Care NP/Physician for a locum assignment in Portsmouth, NH. This role provides primary care services in a clinic setting with a steady weekday schedule and clinical support onsite.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 18 to 20 patients
- Deliver comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with MA and RN support to ensure smooth patient flow
- Document patient encounters and care plans in Athena
Qualifications:
- Active licensure or eligibility to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician
- Experience providing primary care in an outpatient clinical setting
Desired Skills:
- Experience using Athena
- Comfort working in a team-based clinical environment
- Ability to manage a steady patient schedule efficiently
