Registered Nurse

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within our collaborative healthcare network in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes or emergent situations, and respond promptly and appropriately.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care plans.
• Document all care, observations, and communications accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate with physicians, specialists, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards in all clinical activities.
• Precept and mentor new nurses and support staff, contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
• Advocate for patient needs, ensuring respect, dignity, and culturally competent care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance patient outcomes and workflows.
