Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill post surgical patients in the SICUContinuously monitor and interpret vital signs and hemodynamic data
- Administer IV medications, blood products, and manage ventilators per protocol
- Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary team on care plans
- Educate patients and families on recovery, procedures, and discharge plans
- Ensure accurate documentation in the EHR and adherence to safety standards
- Participate in rapid response and code situations as needed
- Support a culture of integrity, compassion, and accountability within the unit
