Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking an accomplished Interventional Cardiologist to serve as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Cardiology Section. This full-time faculty position, at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, involves providing strategic, clinical, and operational leadership within the Bruce and Robbi Toll Heart and Vascular Institute. The role focuses on advancing patient care, education, innovation, and research in complex coronary interventions and structural heart disease.

- Reports directly to the Chief of Cardiology and Deputy Director of the Bruce and Robbie Toll Heart and Vascular Institute
- Joins a group of over 50 full-time academic cardiologists
- Expanding multidisciplinary practice with strong clinical, research, and teaching programs
- Includes robust structural and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure and transplant programs
- Specialized programs in cardio-oncology, cardio-obstetrics, and specialized amyloidosis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy clinics
Responsibilities- Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to advance excellence in patient care, education, innovation, and research
- Oversee all aspects of interventional cardiology services and catheterization lab operations
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and clinical outcomes
- Maintain a high level of clinical productivity while ensuring excellent patient outcomes
- Lead the development and expansion of advanced interventional programs
- Oversee operations of the cardiac catheterization laboratories in coordination with the nurse manager
- Participate in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Lead clinical research initiatives, trials, and other scholarly activities

Shift & Schedule Requirements- MD/DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases
- Board certification in Interventional Cardiology
- Possess a license or be eligible to practice medicine in Pennsylvania by the time the appointment starts
- 10+ years of demonstrated clinical experience in interventional cardiology (in advanced coronary and structural interventions)
- Demonstrated leadership experience (preferred)
- Track record of clinical excellence, program development, and academic contributions
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Academic appointment or eligibility for faculty rank commensurate with experience
