OhioHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Stress Lab at Grady Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will coordinate and perform exercise and pharmacologic stress tests, closely monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to changes in patient status. You will collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, educate patients on cardiac procedures and follow-up care, and ensure accurate documentation. Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor cardiac stress tests, including treadmill and pharmacologic procedures
- Assess, triage, and prepare patients for cardiac diagnostics, ensuring safety and comfort
- Interpret patient responses, recognize arrhythmias, and escalate concerns to cardiology providers
- Administer medications related to stress testing per protocol and document accurately
- Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on procedures, results, and ongoing cardiac care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and adhere to regulatory standards
