Kettering Health Network is seeking a Nuclear Med Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in a faith-based, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating gamma cameras and related imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition, and following ALARA safety principles. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures per physician orders
- Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
- Operate gamma cameras and related imaging equipment
- Apply radiation safety and ALARA standards for patients and staff
- Verify patient identity, history, and exam protocols
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and respond to needs
- Process, analyze, and archive imaging data and results
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and quality control records
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical team members
- Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and safe functioning of equipment and work area
