Family Practice - Geriatrics Physician

Duties:

• Provide clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic diseases, preventive care, and coordination of care for a panel of primary care patients. Appropriate documentation of patient care in clinical records is expected.
• The physician leads the team in assisting the patient advocate and administration in resolving patient concerns and inquiries.
• The Primary Care Physician is assigned responsibility for a panel of patients at a specific location.
• The physician should have competence in effective teaching, monitoring and coordinating educational activities, including planning, evaluating and documenting.
  
• The physician may also have administrative responsibilities, including program planning, committee involvement, and other augmenting duties for the medical center, and making administrative decisions that affect primary care programs.
• The physician must have excellent communication skills
