Child & Adolescent Licensed Therapist / Counselor

Job Description

Sunbelt Healthcare LLC seeks a Child & Adolescent Licensed Therapist / Counselor to provide evidence-based outpatient and intensive behavioral health services for children, teens, and families. In this role, you will complete biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy for a range of emotional, behavioral, and substance use concerns. You will collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and school/community partners, maintain timely clinical documentation, and participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing training within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and families
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and update individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, schools, and community partners
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment records
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement crisis intervention and safety planning
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and team meetings
  • Engage in regular supervision and ongoing professional development
  • Educate patients and families on coping skills and treatment options
  • Uphold ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in all clinical practice
