Travel ICU RN

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ICU RN to provide high-acuity bedside care in intensive care units across diverse hospital settings. In this role, you will assess, monitor, and manage critically ill adult patients, administer medications, titrate drips, and operate advanced life-support equipment. You will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, follow facility protocols, and document care accurately in the EMR. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients while on travel assignments
• Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status and response to treatment
• Administer medications, titrate vasoactive drips, and manage ventilators and other life-support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Follow hospital policies, ICU protocols, and infection control standards at each facility
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment, and discharge instructions as appropriate
• Adapt quickly to new hospital environments, workflows, and ICU units
• Respond to emergencies and participate in codes and rapid response situations
• Communicate effectively with staffing agency coordinators regarding schedules and assignments
