Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Description

Legacy Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to support patient-centered rehabilitation across our Portland-area facilities. In this role, you will implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists, guiding patients through therapeutic activities that restore function, independence, and quality of life. You'll document progress, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and educate patients and families. Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under supervision of licensed OTGuide patients through therapeutic activities to improve function and independence
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families on care plans
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and adaptive techniques
  • Maintain safe, clean therapy spaces and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and documentation standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and ongoing clinical education
