Pulmonology Physician

Pioneer Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary Sleep Medicine Physician to join our growing outpatient practice in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This clinic-based opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys providing comprehensive pulmonary and sleep medicine care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The position offers a Monday Friday schedule with a strong emphasis on outpatient clinic access, continuity of care, sleep study interpretation, and support for patients with pulmonary and sleep-related conditions. This role is well suited for a physician looking to build long-term relationships with patients and referral partners while contributing to the continued growth of Pioneer s pulmonary and sleep medicine services in the Tampa Bay region.

• Provide outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine care in a Monday Friday clinic-based setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary and sleep-related conditions, including sleep apnea, insomnia, chronic respiratory disease, and other related disorders.
• Interpret sleep studies and partner with sleep lab, clinical, and administrative teams to support timely, coordinated patient care.
• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with primary care providers, specialists, and community partners throughout Wesley Chapel and the surrounding Tampa Bay market.
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to access, patient experience, documentation, compliance, and outcomes.
• Contribute to a team culture grounded in communication, professionalism, compassion, and continuous improvement.

• MD or DO degree with board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonary Disease and Sleep Medicine.
• Experience managing outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine patients required.
• Comfort providing hospital pulmonary consults and performing pulmonary procedures preferred.
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure and DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Experience interpreting sleep studies and supporting comprehensive sleep medicine care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation habits, and commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Interest in program growth, quality improvement, and building strong referral relationships within Wesley Chapel and the surrounding Tampa Bay communities.
