Salary: $130,000 $160,000/year

We re partnering with a well-established critical access hospital in southeastern Utah to find an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join its growing orthopedic program.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys a broad, hands-on orthopedic role and wants to make an impact in a close-knit community surrounded by some of Utah s most incredible outdoor recreation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat acute injuries and chronic orthopedic conditions
- Provide care in the clinic, ED, inpatient, and surgical settings
- First-assist in orthopedic surgeries, including fracture fixation and arthroscopy
- Perform procedures such as fracture reductions, casting, splinting, injections, aspirations, and wound care
- Provide pre- and post-operative care and follow-up
- Coordinate care with surgeons, PT/OT, primary care, and other specialists
- Participate in shared orthopedic call coverage and ED consults
- Educate patients on treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-activity plans
Requirements:
- Master s degree from an ARC-PA-accredited PA program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Eligible for unrestricted Utah PA licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic principles and fracture management
- Eligible for hospital privileges
Preferred Experience:
- 1 2+ years of experience in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, emergency medicine, or a related specialty
- Orthopedic first-assist experience
- Experience with casting, splinting, injections, aspirations, and fracture reduction
- Rural or critical access hospital experience
