Job Description
This position assists in managing the pharmaceutical care workload; compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians; and reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and drug interactions are monitored.
Qualifications
BS
No experience required.
Licensed Pharmacist
PharmD and ambulatory/retail pharmacy experience preferred
This position requires attention to detail; the ability to provide excellent customer service; reliability; punctuality; teamwork; and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
Shifts primarily Monday thru Friday 9am-530pm with occasional weekends and holiday coverage. Other shift coverage need to be discussed during interview. Location and schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department. This is a 40 hour per we
