Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Columbia, MD
Join a highly collaborative and technologically advanced private practice dedicated to quality-driven primary care in Columbia, Maryland . We are seeking a long-term primary care NP or PA to join our team in a role that offers unmatched scheduling flexibility, a focus on "quality over quantity," and the support of a tenured clinical staff.
Position Highlights
- Full Scope Primary Care (18+): Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse adult population, ranging from young professionals to geriatrics. Our practice manages everything from wellness prevention to chronic disease management and GYN services.
- Clinician-Centric Environment: Work in an office that truly values provider well-being. Our practice utilizes AI dictation to minimize charting, and we maintain a patient-first model with a manageable average of 19 patients per day.
- Unrivaled Schedule Flexibility: We offer a highly adaptable schedule to fit your lifestyle. Whether you prefer a 4 or 5-day work week, we offer flexible start and end times.
- Paid Admin & Remote Opportunities: Full-time providers receive 4 hours of paid admin time per week. Once established, you have the opportunity to combine admin time with telehealth visits to work one full day from home each week.
- Focus on Quality Time: We prioritize thorough patient care by scheduling 40-minute blocks for wellness visits and new patients, with 20-minute blocks for acute follow-ups.
- Comprehensive Support Team: Each provider is paired with a dedicated MA to handle medication refills, imaging coordination, and inbox management. A separate remote team manages all prior authorizations, allowing you to focus on clinical care.
- Robust Rewards & PTO: Offering a competitive compensation with scheduled increases following a 3-month orientation. Our benefits include approximately 6 weeks of total PTO (vacation, sick, holidays), 401(k), and employer-subsidized medical insurance.
Qualifications - Board-Certified NP (FNP/AGNP) or PA-C is required.
- 1+ years of primary care experience preferred; experience in fast-paced environments (ER/Med-Surg) is highly valued.
- Willingness to perform GYN services (pelvic exams); IUD/Nexplanon training is a plus.
- Maryland licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
