Job Description
The Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products and participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care. Areas of service include Chandler Inpatient, GS Inpatient, OR Satellite, Pediatric Satellite and Oncology Satellites. This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process should your application be selected to move forward.
Qualifications
HS
1 yr
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Hospital/retail pharmacy technician and/or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Schedule
7 days on/7 days off (7:00am – 7:00pm or 7:00am – 5:30pm) with some holiday requirements.
