This position will provide a variety of services aimed at improving the care for patients seen at the at Infusion centers. The RN is a member of the multidisciplinary ambulatory team who is responsible for patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. This position will provide patient care specific to disease management including skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, evaluations or clinical interventions, and infusion administration.
The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals who are working under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.
ADN
No experience required.
Active KY or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider.
BSN preferred
Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook
Must be able to work a minimum of 36 hours each month. Operating hours are Monday – Friday 7a-530p. Hours and days of week are subject to change based on the needs and growth of the department.
