The facility operates Monday through Friday with a structured schedule, offering a supportive environment focused on comprehensive family medicine and chronic care management.

Certified - Advanced Practice, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Details:
  • Provide family medicine services in a locum tenens capacity, seeing a mix of pediatric and adult patients
  • Minimum of 18 patient encounters per day (18 PPD) required
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Includes some Chronic Pain Management responsibilities
  • Chart closure required within 72 hours of patient encounter
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar clinical setting required
  • Active California license required; must be licensed in CA only
  • Active DEA registration required before start date
  • PAs must have a CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate
  • NPs must have a Furnishing License with Schedules II
  • BLS certification required
  • Board certification required (minimum: Certified)
  • Candidate CVs must include month and date on all work experience with all gaps in employment accounted for
  • Required immunizations before start date include: Flu Vaccine, TB Status/X-Ray Results (within 90 days of start date), Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series, and Tdap Immunization (within the last 10 years)
  • Credentialing timeframe is 45-90 days; six weeks is standard for locums who submit application and documents in a timely manner
  • A 30-day notice is required for ending all assignments
