Urology Physician

ATC Locums is physician-led and committed to creating a better locums experience, providing personalized support throughout credentialing and your assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a Urologist comfortable being the primary provider in a busy department while managing a broad spectrum of general urologic conditions and procedures.

• Location: Washington
• Setting: Outpatient clinic, hospital OR, rounding, and call
• Coverage: Multiple dates beginning September 8, 2026, with ongoing availability for up to 12 months
• Commitment: Minimum 3 months; candidates should be able to cover approximately 80% of initial dates
• Clinic: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Night Call: 5:00 PM 8:00 AM as scheduled
• 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM; approximately 1:6
• Patient Volume: patients per clinic day
• Surgical Volume: Approximately cases per month
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospitalist Support: Hospitalist team available for admissions

Enjoy a broad bread-and-butter urology practice with opportunities for both clinic and operative care, including:

• Cystoscopy and vasectomy
• Prostate biopsy and TURP
• Ureteroscopy and ESWL
• Nephrectomy and cystectomy
• Botox injections
• Uroflow/cuff and bladder scans
• General urologic surgery and rounding
• Robotic procedures available, though robotic experience is not required

When on call, approximately 20% of encounters are new consults and 80% are established patients returning to the ED . Callback averages approximately 0.5 hours on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends.

Work alongside 2 RNs, an MA, surgery scheduler, and 2 front-office staff in a busy but collaborative environment.

Requirements: BC Urology preferred; truly board-eligible physicians considered. Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility, ACLS, BLS, and DEA required. Strong general urology experience and the ability to work independently in a high-volume setting are essential.
