Job Description
A health services system in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Emergency Medicine Physician to join their acute care facility in New London County.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Night
- Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
- Hours: 11pm to 9am
- Setting: Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medicine care for patients presenting to the emergency department
- Perform standard emergency department procedures as needed
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and other physicians to support patient care
- Deliver care during overnight hours, including periods of single coverage
Qualifications:
- CT medical license
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine by ABEM
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a high-volume emergency department
- Comfort with overnight single-coverage emergency medicine practice
- Familiarity with standard emergency department procedures
