Job Description
- Start ASAP; ongoing assignment
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (1-hour break)
- Full-time; at least 3 weeks per month
- No call, no weekends, no holidays (clinic closed on holidays)
- 8-hour daily guarantee; overtime applies after 9 hours
- Setting: OB/GYN outpatient clinic only; office consults (no inpatient call)
- Team/Support: Hospitalist model; comprehensive team includes REI, MFM, Gyn Onc, Uro/Gyn; 24/7 MFM support
- Patient encounters: Average 19 per shift
- Facility trauma level: I; Pediatric level: III
- Average number of delivered per year: 700
- Cerner EMR
- Admissions required
- Hospital is Stroke Certified
- Support Staff: 4 RNs, 8 MAs, 4 PA/NPs, 2 Office/Staff
- Required skills: Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and Level II), Decision-making for C-section, Office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- EMR: Cerner
- Certifications: BC or BE, BLS
- Credentialing: Estimated 90 days
