What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient urology care and perform routine procedures such as cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, TURP, bladder scans, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections, and more
- Participate in hospital call duties, including managing new and established patient consults (approx. 20%) and callbacks (approx. 80%)
- Round on hospital patients and coordinate with the hospitalist team
- Use Epic electronic medical records system for documentation
- Manage an outpatient caseload of 20-25 patients daily in a busy department
- Potentially handle minor surgical procedures utilizing onsite robotic technology
What You Need
Required: - Urology board eligibility or certification
- BLS and DEA certifications
- Minimum 3 months of locum experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle up to 25 patients daily
- Willingness to participate in call rotations and perform bread-and-butter urological procedures
Preferred: - Experience with robotic procedures (not required but a plus)
- Strong patient and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and on-call hours as scheduled
