Certified - Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care/Intensive Care
Job Details:
- Seeking an experienced, board-certified Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with critical care cardiac ICU experience
- Specific experience required with VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant management
- Position requires (3) 13-hour shifts per week (7am-8pm or 7pm-8am), including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Primarily manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an Intensivist
- Responsibilities include daily rounding, patient management, and order entry
- Handle admissions and post-operative patient management
- Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter placement, and IABP removal
- 8-12 patient encounters per shift in a 30-bed department
- Must hold an active Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC not accepted)
- Board certification required with active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
- Nearest airport is Harrisburg International
- Locum Tenens engagement through March 2027
