Job Description
- Open dates: Sept 21-Oct 1; Oct 5-Oct 12; Nov 9-Nov 16; Nov 23-Nov 30; 2027: open.
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient; weekend inpatient-only coverage.
- Call: Included; phone consults 5-10/day.
- Call Type: Beeper
- 20-minute call time response required
- Duties: Clinic, elective OR, inpatient rounding on active consults; call coverage; admissions managed by hospitalists.
- Patients: Primarily adults; very few pediatrics.
- Facility: Trauma level 4; PEDs level 0.
- EMR System: Athena (Clinic), Medhost (Hospital)
- No Admissions
- Hospital is Stroke Certified
- Support Staff: 1 MA, 2 Office/Staff
- Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Fellowship preferred
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; ABLS/ATLS/PALS not required.
- Credentialing: 60 days.
