- Work hours: Night Shift Full Time 36 Hours 7PM-7AM rotating schedule including rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications
- Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship Required
1 Year paramedic experience in EMS or fire department Preferred
- Licenses and Certifications
EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Upon Hire Required Or
LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire Required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
- Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal, and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.
What You Will Do:
PROVIDING INTERVENTIONS:
Performs technical skills that are adapted to reflect the age-specific, developmental and diversity needs of the patient.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Enhances patient care skills. Serves as a patient advocate. Provides for patient privacy and dignity. Communicates per department expectations. Demonstrates cooperative relationships by showing willingness to support team members. Acceptable use of interpersonal relationship skills with patients, families, co- workers, physicians, all disciplines, and other customers.
SAFETY/INFECTION CONTROL:
Incorporates age specific safety/ infection control measures into patient care.
ASSESSMENT:
Collects data relevant to the patient’s physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and religious needs.
KPI:
Assists in meeting departmental/hospital KPI’s related to: Patient outcomes, Customer satisfaction, financial performance, Organizational effectiveness, and Community health care

Texas Health Hospital Rockwall is proud to serve the growing areas of Rockwall County, Kaufman County, Hunt County, eastern Dallas County, southern Collin County and outlying areas. Located on 33 acres in Rockwall just south of interstate 30, Texas Health Rockwall offers 60 inpatient beds for acute medical and surgical needs. The hospital continues to grow and visiting campus today you will find a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, a bariatric clinic, an ambulatory surgery center and a variety of physician practices all dedicated to our evolving community health needs. You will see that our long awaited expansion is well underway! This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
