Job Description
This position will assist pharmacists with medicine preparation and distribution in the KY Clinic Pharmacy and/or other retail pharmacy sites operating under University of Kentucky Pharmacy Services. Primary duties include filling and distributing prescriptions in a busy retail-based setting and providing exceptional customer service to pharmacy customers and patients. The successful Senior Technician will be reliable, punctual, works well within a team, and possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Pharmacy Senior Technicians for Ambulatory Pharmacy Services will play an integral role in ensuring overall customer satisfaction and that a positive patient experience are achieved for all Chandler and Good Samaritan retail pharmacy patrons. The ability and desire to work and grow in a fast-paced, complex, and ever-changing field within a dynamic and cutting-edge pharmacy is essential for individuals in this position. Qualifications

Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Hospital/retail pharmacy technician and/or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Schedule
Staffing hours of operation of the KY Clinic Pharmacy are 7:00am-9:00pm Monday thru Friday, and 8:00am-5:00pm Saturday/Sunday. The current schedule for this particular position primarily reflect day shifts from 7:00am – 5:30pm (4 days a week) with the exc
