Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 W Parker Road, Plano TX 75093
Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week – 6:00am-2:30pm with rotations as needed.

· Associate's Degree Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field preferred
· 2 years security, law enforcement, or military police preferred
· 2 years healthcare or education preferred
· 2 years military experience highly preferred
· Driver’s License Class C and Insurable is required upon hire and
· NCSO – Non- Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not-required if have Level 3) within 120 days of hire required.
· CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas level 3 within 120 days of hire required and
· TASER Certification within 120 days of hire required (Two attempts permitted within sixty days) and Annual recertification is required and
· ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 30 days of hire
· Must possess the ability to physically defend and/or restrain people.
· Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation.
What You Will Do
· Patrols buildings and ground for unlocked secured areas for after hour entry.
· Locks and opens doors according to schedules.
· Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.
· Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property.
· Enforces campus parking policies/cite violations.
· Maintains compliance with Security policies.
· Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity.
· Fills out incident/offense report forms and composes narratives.
· Gives directions to areas of facility.
· Interacts with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
· Provides vehicle assistance.
· Patrols interior/perimeter of campus and parking.

Located on 33 acres in Rockwall just south of interstate 30, Texas Health Rockwall offers 60 inpatient beds for acute medical and surgical needs. The hospital continues to grow and visiting campus today you will find a Women's Imaging and Breast Center, a bariatric clinic, an ambulatory surgery center and a variety of physician practices all dedicated to our evolving community health needs. You will see that our long awaited expansion is well underway! This expansion, focused on a healthy future in this high growth area of North Texas, will double the size of our hospital adding more patient beds, a Level 2 NICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and expanding other departments including Labor & Delivery, OR and the emergency room.
