Job Description
Weare seeking a qualified and experienced Locums Emergency Medicine Physician tojoin our team at a hospital in Marie, MI. This facility includes 49 beds, with9 dedicated to obstetrics, and offers comprehensive emergency care supported bya trauma team. The emergency department handles approximately 45 visits perday, providing a dynamic environment for patient care.
Inthis role, you will deliver high-quality emergency medical services to patientspresenting with a variety of urgent and emergent conditions. Responsibilitiesinclude managing both routine emergency cases and collaborating with the traumateam as necessary. You will work 12-hour shifts, with options for either 7 AMto 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Accurate and thorough documentation using the MeditechEMR system is required. The position involves approximately 8 shifts per month,with a preference for a minimum 4-day stretch.
Requirements:
BoardCertified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Emergency Medicine.
Currentcertifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced TraumaLife Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic LifeSupport (BLS).
ActiveMichigan medical license and DEA registration, or an Interstate MedicalLicensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification.
